About

Tanya Pease

Hi, I’m Tanya, I'm originally from England and have been working with Children since 1996.

I moved to Auckland in 2006.

Within weeks of the big move I was taking on various  baby sitting roles, I’ve always loved having children in my every day life. After a while it became clear to me that there was a gap in the market for good, mature, experienced babysitters and as the demands on me to babysit became higher and higher I realised there was a business to be made here. The experience I gained in the UK was clearly invaluable & highly sought after.

So I started Auckland BabySitting Ltd

I took on one girl after a few months, then another a few months later and from then on we grew to what we are now a team of 20+ girls.

I’ve always felt that I have a gift with children, and can relate to them instantly.

I have experience with newborns through to teens. I have provided nutritional advice as well as activities, behavioural & educational tips.

I have also provided a School Holiday program for Les Mills Auckland as well as coaching regular CrossFit kids classes.

I’m very active and this comes through in the ways I care and influence children.

I’ve also volunteered at Starship Children’s hospital as well as been a relief carer for Les Mills Auckland Kids Club.

As of the May 2017 I took a step back as I became a Mummy myself to my beautiful boy, Ollie.

I now have the pleasure of running Auckland BabySitting from home whilst spending every part of my day bringing up my boy hands on.

I love it.

I see Auckland BabySitting to be a ‘boutique’ agency providing the best, most reliable & trustworthy child-care Auckland can provide.

I look for like-minded girls to join our team. They all have at least 5-10+ years experience and are over the age of 25. We all love children and have made childcare our chosen career path.

I make sure I know all my sitters as professional Nannies and also as good friends. I believe in order for me to place someone in your home it’s important I know them in person not just on paper.
